a pirate's life and a bottle of rum to me fools yo-ho-ho

[out[.johnny]

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage plunder, we rifle and loot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort and pilfer, we filch and sack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle and even highjack.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char and in flame and ignite.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

We're rascals and scoundrels, we're villians and knaves.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, we're really bad eggs.
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

We're beggars and blighters and ne'er do-well cads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.

bottled

Why the hell does inspiration only finds me and allows me to write something when I'm broke, with nothing useful to do, tired of having nothing useful to do, had a rich day/night of sex, about to fall in love or any of the previous jointly with a bottle of wine or scotch

Gasoline Surf Spot

Gasoline River Surf Spot @ Barreiro, Portugal

Meet Gasoline
the left handed wave that breaks with a 20 knots push from the catamaran which makes the connection between south side Barreiro city and the capital Lisbon.
Once a secret now disclosed in well known surf magazines and even included in a portuguese surf spot guide.

With the correct tide (lowest possible) and wind conditions you may find yourself slipping through 150m of pure fun
surfer: Ricardo Carrajola

This river break takes place in my hometown Barreiro close to the deactivated fluvial and train station.
Even with brown submarines and unidentified swimming objects in the water I've surfed this funny wave a lot of times when I discovered it more than 10 years ago when these new "boats" arrived in town with the expo'98 to cut the half hour trip in half. I knew I wasnt the only one but now I discover that the wave is there for the world and the guys who disclosed it made a great job producing a short film, inviting pro surfers and mags to meet what they call Gasoline.

Ten years ago from now the water quality was awfully bad than today is, and 10 years ago from that date it was hell in town, caused by almost one century of this industrial city shitting toxic wastes and residential sewers to the river. Nowadays with the water station treatment centers, that was the best thing EU funds made around here, the ecosystem is starting to work and species like soles, corvinas, basses and shellfishes are setting again, even dolphins break in through the estuary in search for food, as the ancient fishermen recall  stoties told by their parents and grandparents. "Things are getting much better and still improving", say the people who live from the sea.

It's there 15 in 15min in the rush hour.

Back in those days surfing was quite difficult if you didn't had car or live by the ocean. Usually in the weekends I ran out of home early in the dawn based in unreliable forecasts or in what I heard just in hope to find a glassy day with good waves at Costa de Caparica or Carcavelos, the only beaches I could reach by transportation and it took like 2 hours to get my ass wet, since we would have to change transports twice or thrice. Putting together the fact that always was a problem to get out of home without having my mom troubling my mind it was quite an adventure to surf those days. I even got my surfboards hidden when mom found out that I was surfing in the river.. fearing that my rough fearless soul was taken by some evil toxic crab or eel she hid my boards.. that were depressing and heavy days in my youthful times.

Enlighten my dark

Giza Pyramids - Alexandria, Egypt

Some say that along with the upcoming days comes a fog of mysteries involving ancient myths, prophecies and legends others hold on to science and it's merely a winter solstice (21/Dec/2012), not dipping into astro details and whatsoever this shit happens "merely" only once every 26.000 years.
Anyway its fucking astonishing how precisely the Mayan calendar (Mayan astronomers??) were able to pinpoint this planetary alignment.

The Mayan calendar is based on cycles, 21 December 2012 purely indicates the end of a cycle that began on August 11, 3114 BC. Quite awkward and peculiar is how these jungle dudes 3k years ago managed to work "rocket science" out. (?)

A new age/cycle is coming, true story mate, we already stepped into, just take a look at the global weather changes graphs, the world debt map and clock, what the financial crisis will lead our governments to do and consequently us, how our freedom it's just a glimpse, how people worship the material goods, status and power, the bloodspilling in the name of the what socalled precious goods.

Well if you didn't noticed check how the world its ol'fucked up, and can't sight no winds of change in the horizon.. just the hope to see enlightenment in our race as the dark days will come.

btw, the planets aligned: Mercury Venus and Saturn. Venus the planet of Love aligned with the biggets pyramid, sweet :)
